Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) – Boutique Private Practice

About the Role

Katie Stone Wellness is seeking a newly registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our boutique private practice located in the heart of Redondo Beach, CA. This is a full-time position that includes access to a private office for in-person sessions, use of shared lobby spaces, and opportunities to collaborate with other associates and licensed clinicians in the suite.

As part of the practice, you’ll receive weekly clinical supervision and specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders to prepare you for working confidently and compassionately with this population.

This position offers the independence of private practice with the support of mentorship and community. Please note:

**This is not a group practice. Associates are expected to self-generate most of their client referrals through their own networking and marketing efforts. Some referrals may come through the practice, but they are not guaranteed.

Candidate Qualifications

• Registered AMFT with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
• Self-driven, reliable, and passionate about private practice work
• Willing to work with adolescents, teens, and families
• Open to and interested in working with the eating disorder population (prior lived and/or professional experience preferred but not required)
• Reliable form of transportation and willing to commute to Redondo Beach at least 1 day per week for in-person sessions

• Eclectic approach integrating person-centered, experiential, somatic, and trauma-informed modalities and evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT, Exposure Therapy & ERP, EMDR, IFS, and EFT, Expressive Art, & Movement Therapy

Pay: $35,811.06 - $96,986.65 per year
