A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Long Beach, CA, with a focus on serving two elementary school sites on a hybrid schedule. This contract position is designed to cover a leave and offers a balance of in-person and remote work, providing flexibility alongside direct engagement with students and staff.

Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments onsite to ensure compliance with educational standards and protocols. The role requires thorough report writing and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), both of which can be completed remotely. Maintaining adherence to state and district compliance requirements is a critical component of this position.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or license recognized in California.
  • Experience working in elementary school settings.
  • Proficiency in completing psychological assessments and writing detailed reports.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and special education compliance regulations.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, providing onsite services 2 to 3 days per week.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage workload and collaborate with educators and families.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid schedule with 23 days onsite at elementary school locations and remote work flexibility.
  • Coverage of two elementary school sites within the Long Beach area.
