Title: National Control Center (NCC) Operations Associate
Department: Domestic (supports INTL)
Reports To: NCC Supervisor

Summary

The NCC Operations Associate handles Aeronet client shipments and service requests during off-hours (nights, weekends, holidays). The role focuses on order setup, routing, tracking, and client communication to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.

Essential Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Provide courteous client service via phone and email.
• Coordinate shipments (air, ocean, ground) based on client directives.
• Prepare quotes and obtain competitive pricing from vendors.
• Input shipment and cost data into Aerotrac for billing and tracking.
• Manage pass-down tracking and tracing, updating milestones promptly.
• Identify and address shipment delays or deviations, escalating as needed.
• Support compliance with IATA, TSA, and known shipper requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with shippers, vendors, and agents.
• Fulfill specialized client requests within expected timeframes.

Job Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma required; 2–3 years of experience preferred (not mandatory).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to problem-solve and multitask under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and often alone during off-hours.
• Must meet TSA background/drug screening requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
