Breathe (Life Healing Centers) is hiring for a Primary Therapist in West Hollywood, CA area!

The Primary Therapist provides clinical care and treatment to Breathe clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Perform biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning
  • Review treatment plan goals with clients regularly
  • Support clients in accessing community resources
  • Provide individual and group therapy
  • Be aware of and eliminate stressors in the facility
  • Be aware of potential crisis and manage the program to decrease crisis
  • Inform Clinical Director of significant events in a timely manner
  • Communicate accurate and timely information within guidelines
  • All charts, program documentation, medication management, incident reports and other forms/reports are completed according to the defined
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work. Valid LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC equivalent.
  • LGBTQ+ community specifically (this is very important), trauma / experiential therapy. Addiction/ chemsex (ideal)
  • Supervision of associates (ideal).
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance.
  • Hiring is contingent upon receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption, a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508), a TB test, and clearance on an employment physical.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred prior to employment.
