Join our team and make a difference supporting students in a juvenile court school setting.

Location: Two school sites – San Dimas and La Verne, CA
Schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (Thursdays end at 12:00 PM), 60-minute lunch
Pay Rate: $60/hr | W2, paid weekly every Friday
Contract: Year-round program | Start ASAP | Open-ended based on student needs

Onboarding & Reimbursement:

  • Drug screen prepaid by Bilingual Therapies
  • Fingerprinting, TB test, and physical (if required) reimbursed in the second week of pay with receipts
  • Licensure or certification costs required to start the position will also be reimbursed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students ages 12–19 in a juvenile court school environment
  • Support academic, social, and emotional development aligned with students’ IEPs and goals
  • Implement behavior and crisis intervention strategies when needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and probation staff to support positive outcomes
  • Maintain confidential records and prepare progress reports
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and restorative environment

Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, School Counseling, or related field
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential – School Counseling authorization
  • Experience providing counseling to middle or high school students
  • Preferred:
  • Previous experience in alternative education, juvenile justice, or behavioral programs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Skills:
  • Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • Professionalism, empathy, and consistency in high-stress environments

Note:

You don’t need to be bilingual to apply. We work with both bilingual and English-only professionals unless a job specifically requires bilingual skills.
