The Position
- An Interim Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is needed to lead the Social Work department at a hospital in the Lakewood area.
- Reports to the department director.
- Key responsibilities include supervising social work staff, ensuring compliance with California regulations and resources, and quickly stepping in to fill the immediate leadership gap.
- The ideal candidate will have proven social work supervisory or leadership experience, strong familiarity with California regulations and resources, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a changing healthcare environment. Must be highly organized and patient-focused.
- Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Active California LCSW license required.
- Prior social work leadership experience required.

- Compensation Range: $110,000 to $115,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
