Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is now accepting applications for its APA-accredited full-time, one-year postdoctoral psychology fellowship positions for September 2026 to August 2027. Founded in 1901, CHLA treats children and families in Los Angeles and is recognized throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. CHLA predominantly serves an ethnically diverse population from households with low incomes. Fellowship positions are available across various specialty programs:
- Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine
- Child and Family Community Psychology
- Early Childhood Psychology
- Early Childhood & Pediatric Psychology
- Pediatric Psychology
- Project Heal Trauma Psychology
- The National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement

Application Requirements: Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree in clinical, school, or counseling psychology from an APA accredited graduate program, and an APA accredited doctoral internship working with children/adolescents by August 2026.
Deadline: The program will start reviewing applications as they are received and start inviting applicants for interviews beginning December 15, 2025. All interviews will be conducted virtually. The program will continue to accept applications as long as there are openings.
Stipend: The annual stipend is $70,034. Licensed fellows receive an increase to an annual stipend of $75,712.
