Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a vital role in delivering behavioral therapy and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This position involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing supervision to ensure effective implementation of behavioral interventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis, experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients with developmental disabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Collect and analyze data collection to measure progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  • Provide direct patient care and behavioral therapy tailored to individual needs, including working with children with autism.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records, patient assessments, and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct intake evaluations and participate in team meetings for ongoing patient management.
  • Provide supervision and training to behavior technicians and other staff members involved in service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral health and special education settings.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Proven experience working with children, individuals with autism, or those with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and related methodologies.
  • Experience with data collection, patient assessment, and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records.
  • Ability to work within the scope of behavioral health services, including conducting intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations such as HIPAA to ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and healthcare teams.
