Pediatric Speech Lab is seeking a Hybrid Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to:

1. Supervise registered behavior technicians (RBTs),

2. Evaluate children diagnosed with ASD

3. Create treatment plans

4. Facilitate family training

Under the direction of the ABA department lead, The BCBA will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake meetings with new clients and families
  • Conduct and score initial and ongoing assessments using appropriate assessment tools
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for each client and communicate goals and progress updates with families and technicians
  • Train and supervise a caseload of Registered Behavior Technicians and clients
  • Develop parent training goals and lead parent training meetings
  • Collaborate with other clinicians both in and outside of the clinic to coordinate the therapy of shared clients
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children as necessary
  • Attend team meetings as scheduled
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory protocol
  • Maintain open communication with families and team members regarding goals and progress
  • Maintain appropriate certifications and licenses

Education and Certifications

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.
  • BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required.
  • Licensed to practice ABA therapy in the state of Maryland or willing to get license required

Compensation

  • The hourly pay range for this position will be $60.00 per hour.
