The ideal candidate has experience working with diverse clientele from all social economical, ethnic, and religious background, speaks Spanish, and has experienced in community mental health settings billing Medicaid (Medi-Cal). Experience treating children as young as three, as well as adolescents and adults, is essential, along with providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy services.
This is a hybrid, primarily remote position, with requirements to go into our Sacramento office as needed, monthly or quarterly.
Must be willing to be credentialed with insurance companies.
This is a W-2, employer-employee relationship. Do not apply if you are interested in a 1099 independent contractor position.
Compensation:
- $65.00 per hour.
Hours Requirements:
- 5-20 hours per week - starts out with 5 hours per week and increases based on number of Associates and their caseload.
Our team comprises clinicians from varied backgrounds, and we welcome candidates prepared to serve individuals from a wide range of cultural, faith, and socioeconomic groups. - Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults, including conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, family, and couples therapy.
- Complete clinical documentation following Medicaid (Medi-Cal) guidelines.
- Offer weekly clinical supervision to up to six board-registered associates, adhering to all licensing board guidelines and requirements. Supervision includes one hour of individual or triadic supervision, or 2 hour of group supervision weekly, depending on the number of supervisees and their caseloads.
- Provide clinical support to licensed clinicians and facilitate monthly clinical consult team meetings
- Co-sign clinical documentations daily, within 24 hours, review clinical documentation, and provide constructive feedback to enhance supervisee’s clinical skills and documentation practices.
- Attend any required meetings and trainings, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience providing individual, family, or couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
- Active licensure in the state of California for at least two years.
- Prior experience providing clinical supervision is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Medicaid (Medi-Cal) documentation guidelines.
