Our clients are seeking CWEL licensed Foster Care Case Managers/Child Welfare Specialists throughout the Chicago area.
HOURLY RATE
- Up to $30/hr. compensation is dependent on Contractor's experience, education, availability, and skills
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Carry a caseload comprised of DCFS wards of the State and their families
- Perform a range of social work duties, including gathering and analysis of data and the formulation of treatment plans
- Formulate understanding of clients’ situations, providing appropriate services to meet client/family needs
- Transport clients and supervise the facilitation of sibling and parental visits, following DCFS policies
- Attend juvenile court, collaborative conferences with DCFS, school staffing and other meetings that may impact the well-being of the client and the family
- Advocate for clients’ best interest in school settings, at juvenile court, and in any other systems which interface with the client and the family
- Link client and their families with community resources to help meet treatment goals
- Perform record keeping functions and other administrative duties as required by the Agency
- Collaborate with other agency personnel, supervisor, appropriate specialists or consultants on specific case related problems
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- CWEL - Must be active
- CERAP - Must be active
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
