Position Overview
Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support students in a Bristol, CT school district starting in January 2026. The LCSW will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support to students, helping them overcome barriers to academic and personal success.

Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
Active Connecticut LCSW license through the Department of Public Health (DPH)
Certification or eligibility for certification as a School Social Worker through the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE)
Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal, counseling, and crisis management skills
Key Duties
Provide individual and group counseling for students with emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies to support student well-being
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address barriers to learning
Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as part of the student support team
Provide crisis response and short-term interventions as needed
Connect families with community agencies and resources for ongoing support
