Position Overview
Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support students in a Bristol, CT school district starting in January 2026. The LCSW will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support to students, helping them overcome barriers to academic and personal success.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)

• Active Connecticut LCSW license through the Department of Public Health (DPH)

• Certification or eligibility for certification as a School Social Worker through the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE)

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred

• Strong interpersonal, counseling, and crisis management skills

Key Duties

• Provide individual and group counseling for students with emotional, behavioral, or social challenges

• Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies to support student well-being

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address barriers to learning

• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as part of the student support team

• Provide crisis response and short-term interventions as needed

• Connect families with community agencies and resources for ongoing support
