An opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to work full-time onsite at an elementary school in Waukegan, IL. This contract position serves students in grades 9-12 and offers a rewarding environment to make a meaningful impact on student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades 9-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide support strategies
- Implement intervention plans to address behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges
- Monitor student progress and modify approaches as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist license
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Proven experience working with diverse student populations in educational settings
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
