Behavioral Technician (ABA Experience Preferred)

About the Role:
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavioral Technicians to support children and adults with special needs in educational settings. You’ll work closely with school professionals, therapists, and families to implement behavioral and educational programs that promote growth and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA-based behavioral interventions under supervision of BCBA or teacher
- Support students in achieving IEP goals and behavioral objectives
- Assist with academic instruction and therapy plans (SLP, OT, PT)
- Track and document progress accurately
- Provide crisis intervention and behavior management
- Promote development of daily living and social skills
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- At least 1–2 years of pediatric or special needs experience (preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification (if applicable)
- TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Computer proficiency and strong communication skills
- Completion of Amergis Competency Program (if applicable)
