**Job Summary:**
This position is for afternoons Monday-Sunday after school (3-5 pm).
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and therapy to children and individuals with special needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health and a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. **Responsibilities:**
- Conduct patient assessments to identify behavioral and cognitive needs.
- Implement and monitor behavioral therapy plans, including ABA techniques, to address specific behavioral challenges.
- Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Develop and adapt behavioral interventions based on client needs and progress.
- Work with clients in various settings, including schools and home environments.
- Implement strategies to promote social, emotional, and behavioral growth and development.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
**Experience:**
- Experience working with children and individuals with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, or other developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Experience in behavioral health, special education, or a related field.
- Proven ability to collect and analyze data, including observational and behavioral data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality principles.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as behavioral science, special education, or psychology.
**Skills:**
- Patient assessment and behavioral intervention skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
