Position Summary:

The staff psychologist will provide weekly individual therapy to students at the YU undergrad or graduate level. He/She will bring specific expertise that is needed and will have experience working with college student mental health, as well as proven success with YU students, specifically, if possible.

Casual positions offer flexible hours, with no more than 19 hours per week.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Individual therapy
  • Outreach to students and to staff
  • Provide consultation to other counselors and to staff


Experience & Educational Background:
  • Licensed psychologist preferred
  • Licensed social worker with several years of experience


Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficient in evidence-based therapy modalities
  • Experience with college student mental health
  • Excellent writing skills, interest in speaking and educating students and faculty on areas such as mental well-being, drugs and alcohol, and suicide prevention


Salary Range:

$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
