Silva Family Therapy, Inc. is currently seeking a self-motivated associate therapist who would like experience working in a private practice setting. SFTi works as a collaborative team while having your autonomy.
This is a great opportunity to grow your experience as a therapist with paid weekly individual and group supervision provided by a qualified Supervisor. SFTi also provides additional support through free trainings and CEU's.
We take care of the referral and intake process, along with the insurance contracting, and billing.
Practice independently and provide professional and confidential assessments, treatment planning as well as individual, family and couples psychotherapy services to help clients address issues including emotional/behavioral problems, environmental conditions and social difficulties.
Complete diagnostic assessment including assessment of mental health concerns, treatment plans, anxiety and depression measures, and measures of progress
Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work — Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
Job Requirements
- Registered with BBS without any restrictions
Responsibilities
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
- Implement and review treatment plans
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Microsoft Office and electronic health records
- Willing to work with all ages and demographics
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong time management and attention to detail qualities
- Substance Abuse and Addiction Recovery experience- a plus
- Experience working with children is helpful but not required
