Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, primarily focusing on children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) will be essential in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This position is integral to our mission of providing compassionate and effective behavioral health services.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting interventions as necessary based on findings.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on ABA principles and strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor client behavior in various settings to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to client behavior.
- Familiarity with special education processes and working within educational settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation practices, and patient assessment protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
