Therapeutic Child Care (TCC) Coordinator – LifeSpring

Location Overview:
LifeSPRING of River Edge is a nationally recognized, evidence-based residential and outpatient treatment program dedicated to supporting women in recovery from substance use disorder. We welcome mothers, pregnant women, and women primarily of childbearing age, offering a safe, substance-free environment that addresses their unique needs.
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, the Therapeutic Child Care (TCC) Coordinator oversees all functions of the Therapeutic Child Care program. The TCC Coordinator coordinates the activities of TCC staff to ensure children served receive comprehensive, trauma-informed care. This position is responsible for approving curriculum and activities that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development while addressing traumatic issues in a healing, supportive environment. The TCC Coordinator also collaborates with DFCS and other community partners to assist mothers in treatment by completing their case plan requirements.

5113 College Cross, Macon, GA – Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement TCC program and curriculum.
- Coordinate TCC staff schedules and daily activities.
- Attend TANF-RFW program weekly treatment team meetings.
- Provide outreach and collaboration with community agencies.
- Deliver direct clinical and support services for children and/or families, including assessment, service planning, and individual and group work with parents and/or their children.
- Administer or assist with administering parenting and children’s clinical assessment tools.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services, and at least one (1) year of qualifying childcare experience, preferably with children of substance-abusing mothers.
