Job Title: Qualified Professional
As a Qualified Professional, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional mental health services to individuals and families. Your expertise will guide clients through their challenges, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver compassionate care while fostering an environment of growth and healing.
What you’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations to determine client needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, including crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies.
- Facilitate family counseling sessions, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for all participants.
- Engage in crisis management to address immediate client needs effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelors degree and QMHP certification.
- Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application in treatment plans.
