Child - Adolescent Mental Health Counselor

We’re an expanding private practice seeking a warm, grounded, and experienced therapist to join our collaborative team in the Garrisonville area of North Stafford. We are specifically seeking a practitioner who has strong skills working with children of all ages.

$50 - $65 hourly

• Provide therapy sessions for children, adolescents, and families using a variety of effective therapeutic approaches.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Keep thorough and accurate clinical documentation in line with HIPAA standards.
• Offer telehealth sessions when needed to make care more accessible for clients.
• Work closely with other professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care for clients with more complex needs.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. You MUST be fully licensed (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCAS, PsyD, etc.).
• Experience providing clinical counseling in a private practice or similar setting.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and knowledgeable about best practices for virtual therapy.
• Strong clinical documentation skills and a solid understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
• Experience working with children is required
