Behavior Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and providing support to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Training is provided.

Availability: Thursdays and Fridays 3:30 pm-6:30 pm is a must!

RBT is preferred, or the individual must be willing to enroll in a free 40-hour course within the first three months of being hired.

Duties

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and analyze data on client progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Assist in patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote client success.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to client behavior and progress.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
