Mental Health Counselor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide high quality mental health services to individuals and families in various phases of life. Join us as we facilitate equitable, accessible and compassionate care.

Duties

• Provide attentive and compassionate therapy during individual and group sessions
• Conduct patient assessments regarding behavior, mood and other observations
• Assist in the implementation of clinical treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
• Complete and maintain accurate clinical notes
• Engage in crisis intervention and management strategies to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate on case management and care coordination for patients with diverse needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults and adolescents
• Limited permit qualified candidates are invited to apply
• Strong understanding of mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures and standards
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating empathy and patience towards patients.
• Regular access to a private and professional space, appropriate to conduct virtual therapy sessions
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in your preferred specialties.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
