Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing guidance and assistance to individuals facing various challenges related to mental health, addiction, and behavioral health. The Support Specialist will work closely with clients to foster their well-being and empower them through effective crisis intervention and management techniques.
Duties
- Mentor clients by providing guidance and support in their recovery journey.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions.
- Collaborate with other professionals in social work and healthcare settings to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to crisis intervention and behavioral health.
Experience
Candidates should possess a background in behavioral health, social work, or a related field. Experience with crisis intervention, crisis management, mental health counseling, addiction counseling, and mentoring is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
