Annual Salary: $70k – $80k (varies depending on years of experience)
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our client’s behavioral health team, which provides integrated substance use and mental health treatment across multiple outpatient settings. This role involves direct client care, clinical oversight, and administrative support to ensure quality and compliance within assigned programs. The position includes a moderate caseload, opportunities to supervise junior clinicians, and flexibility for limited remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client intakes and psychosocial assessments in accordance with state regulatory standards.
- Deliver individual and group psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals, progress, and changing needs.
- Provide clinical supervision to LMSWs and other unlicensed team members, reviewing and co-signing documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and coordinated service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record, ensuring all notes and plans are completed within required timeframes.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case conferences to support ongoing quality improvement.
- Offer linkages and referrals to external providers and community resources as appropriate.
- Assist leadership in program development, start-up initiatives, and compliance activities.
- May provide telehealth services as needed to ensure client access and engagement.
Qualifications
- Active LCSW license in New York State (required).
- 3+ years of clinical experience, with at least one year post-licensure.
- Experience working with clients impacted by mental health, substance use, or criminal justice involvement preferred.
- Supervisory experience and/or CASAC credential a plus.
- Strong communication, documentation, and engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely in a private, professional environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency preferred but not required.
