Location: MarinHealth Medical Center – 250 Bon Air Rd, Greenbrae, CA 94904
Pay Rate: Up to $3900/week
Start Date: October 16, 2025
Contract Length: 13 Week

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5x8 Hour Day Shifts | 40 Hours/Week
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital (150–500 beds)

About the Opportunity

MarinHealth Medical Center in Marin County, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership skills to serve as Care Coordination Department Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Case Management Leader with acute inpatient (INPT) hospital experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in Care Coordination operations, experience working in a union environment, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and patient flow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions within the Care Coordination and Case Management department.
• Provide strategic direction and daily leadership to care coordination and social work staff.
• Manage patient flow, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with AORN, ASPAN, AAMI, Title-22, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
• Develop policies, procedures, and best practices to improve department performance.
• Lead staff hiring, scheduling, evaluations, and professional development.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and hospital administration to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain and report departmental metrics and performance goals.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License – State of California (must be current at time of submission).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Care Coordination Management or Operations.
• Acute Inpatient (INPT) Case Management Leadership experience is required.

• Previous experience working in a unionized hospital environment.

• Strong knowledge of EPIC EMR systems.
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to motivate interdisciplinary teams toward shared goals.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations and care transitions.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive quality and efficiency improvements.

Position Details

• Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
• Shift: Days | 5x8 Hour Shifts | No weekends or holidays required
• Hours Per Week: 40 guaranteed
• Call Off Policy: Up to 36 hours available to the facility at no cost during the assignment
• Position Urgency: Normal
