Description

We're looking for Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSWs) for an immediate travel opening in Palo Alto, CA.

As a LICSW, you will provide advanced clinical social work services to patients and families, including psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address emotional, behavioral, and social factors impacting patient care and recovery.

As a LICSW, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide short-term therapeutic counseling and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers on care coordination
  • Facilitate discharge planning, community resource referrals, and continuity of care
  • Advocate for patient rights and support culturally competent care
  • Lead or co-facilitate support groups as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and professional ethical standards

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a LICSW in a clinical, hospital or mental health setting with a current active license in the state they are working in. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.

LICSWs should be compassionate, clinically skilled, and able to navigate complex emotional and social dynamics while working in fast-paced care environments.
