Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and developing behavior intervention plans for individuals, particularly children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism. You will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral strategies that promote positive outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques and monitor progress through data collection.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training and support in behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, intake forms, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to staff working with individuals with disabilities in various settings.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment effectiveness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for tracking behavioral progress.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working within educational settings.
- Understanding of patient care principles, patient assessment protocols, and medical terminology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively while ensuring quality care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
