Waypoint is seeking a motivated Clinical Intern looking to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing their supervision hours, preparing for their BCBA or BCaBA certification.
You will work closely with our clinical team under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and contribute to client progress. This position offers hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement within a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ABA therapy to clients under supervision of a BCBA
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collect and record data accurately on client behavior and program performance
- Participate in team meetings, training, and case reviews
- Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, and team members
- Uphold ethical and professional standards as set forth by the BACB and company policy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Education, ABA, or a related field
- Enrollment in or completion of coursework for BCBA/BCaBA certification
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sessions as needed
- The ability to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
