Hephzibah Children’s Association is seeking a dedicated Behavior Analyst to make a lasting impact in the lives of children.

In this role, you’ll conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans that promote adaptive behaviors and emotional growth. Observations and support will take place in our residential program, at school, and within the community to ensure consistency and continuity of care.

You will design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans with measurable goals, while also training and guiding staff and caregivers to bring those plans to life. Collaboration is at the heart of this role — you’ll partner with direct care staff, and other professionals to ensure that each child’s goals are met with understanding and success.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field (psychology, special education, social work). Board certification preferred.
  • Familiarity of the ARC model of trauma treatment and/or a working understanding of trauma impacted children and experience working with special needs children.
  • Direct experience creating individualized intervention plans with an emphasis on skill acquisition along with experience analyzing problem behavior and creating individualized intervention plan to reduce problem behavior
  • Requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies.
