Our research environment is one of the most advanced in the world, and the day-to-day quest for discovery will inspire your best work.ProfileThe UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our clinical faculty and serve as a clinician with our outpatient clinical team at Parkland Health. The position includes opportunities for direct clinical care, supervision of trainees of various disciplines, and participation in the department's academic mission. The specific clinical, educational, and research interests of the applicant and the needs of the department will determine the exact effort distribution of the selected faculty member.Candidates must have an M.D./D.O. and be board certified or board eligible in General Psychiatry. While Texas licensure is not required for consideration or selection, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position. Previous academic experience, interventional psychiatry clinical experience, and a strong track record of clinical teaching are a plus.Highlights of the Opportunity
