We are seeking a passionate and community-focused Services Coordinator to join our Services team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to supporting residents through wellness programming, resource linkages, and community engagement. The Services Coordinator will work closely with Property Managers and residents to foster a sense of community and promote housing stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement health and wellness programs across assigned developments
- Conduct resident needs assessments and develop responsive programming
- Build and maintain partnerships with local agencies and service providers
- Support residents with financial literacy, job readiness, and housing stability
- Prepare and submit required reports and serve as liaison during audits
- Collaborate with Property Managers to address lease violations and resident concerns
- Engage with Resident Councils and Neighborhood Watch groups
- Track program budgets and collaborate with fiscal staff
- Promote inclusive and culturally competent engagement strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with exposure to Social Services preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in program development, community engagement, or social services
- Experience working with low-income and special needs populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid NJ Driver’s License and ability to travel across counties
- Bilingual skills a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks and operate a motor vehicle safely
- Use of standard office equipment
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, lift, and drive
