Monarch Recovery is an intensive outpatient program located in Ventura, CA. We are dedicated to helping those in need and providing a strong motivating team. Monarch Recovery is looking for a motivated Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT) that will conduct psychosocial assessments and evaluations and with guidance and supervision from the Clinical Director. This is a paid position that includes individual supervision, group supervision, staff meetings and regular trainings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Interviews and conducts psychosocial and functional assessments for assigned clients
• Provide, under licensed supervision, group counseling
• Actively participates in the multi-disciplinary team process by providing and sharing information with the Clinical Director and other team members that contributes to/positively impacts the overall plan of treatment for the client and family
• Assists the client and family in complying with the clinical/medical treatment initiated by the mental health staff such as offering strategies to cope with medication side effects
• Works where indicated to effect behavioral changes in clients with or at risk for physical disorders and helps them support healthy lifestyle choices
• Follow all clinical procedures, participate in all required trainings, meetings and clinical supervision
• Adhere to the documentation guidelines set forth by Monarch Recovery
• Complete Discharge Planning Progress Notes and Discharge Summary in a timely manner
• Communicate with outside therapists and other appropriate parties as indicated within the compliance of HIPAA requirements
• Coordinate continuing care life planning groups
• Develop thorough, individual continuing care plans in alignment with treatment team recommendations and client needs
• Complies with Board requirements for license registration/renewal
• Other duties as assigned

License:

• Registered in CA with the BBS as an AMFT

Experience:

• Must have 2+ years working with individuals with substance abuse and mental health

• Experience with KIPU software

Schedule:

• Monday Thru Friday
• 4-8 hour Shifts

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
