CG Therapies is a boutique psychotherapy practice that was established in 2017. Clients are consulted and matched with providers who are comfortable with the referral and who are the best fit for their unique needs and preferences of the client.

We are seeking an experienced therapist with a multicultural lens and with astute clinical skills to join our family of brilliant and compassionate clinicans. Responsibilities and Duties

Clinicians provide 45-60 minute, individual, psychotherapy to clients with a range of diagnoses and needs. We will tailor your referrals to correspond with your specialty, experience, and interest. Documentation requirements are minimal but prompt communication and comfort learning/navigating basic scheduling software essential. Independent, ongoing, professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications and Skills

Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field AND current license to independently practice psychotherapy in Illinois. Specialized, post-graduate, training in trauma -focused interventions, race-based stress, eating disorders, or addiction strongly preferred. Efficient and punctual completion of administrative requirements (e.g. notes, records of services, etc.) and other responsibilities as needed. Timely and proactive communication and response is essential. Must be comfortable using technology, such as Excel and Google Calendar.

Because of the time it takes to add clinicians to insurance panels (2-6 months), one should not expect immediate, full-time, financial support, from this work. We offer part-time involvement to allow clinicians to maintain other work, as well as the opportunity to transition to full-time work, for those with that as a goal. Schedules are flexible; based on office availability and your needs. You decide which clients you'd like to take on.
