Intake Coordinator
Admissions - Framingham Campus
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00/year depending on experience + sign on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and the other half paid after 90 days of employment/pro-rated for part time).
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for all referrals and intakes to the Wayside Campus (including Lockland Ave). The Intake Coordinator is often the first point of contact with Wayside for a family in need of services. TheIntake coordinators welcome, register, and oversee all aspects of admissions and referrals for the Residential and Day Services.
This position gathers information about the new youth intake to begin creating client records. The coordinator answers questions related to services and has interface with referral agencies, schools, hospitals and department of child and family. The Intake Coordinator is also a liaison to families as their youth begins behavioral and clinical care at the Wayside Campus in residential or Day treatment.
This is high volume, customer service environment. The best candidates will be warm, friendly, welcoming, and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. It will be expected that they have a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.

What you will do:

  • Reconcile Campus / Day Treatment census daily
  • Obtain medical records/ Doctors medical orders for medication
  • Prepare/ update spreadsheets and date on census
  • Work with hospitals, care providers and insurers to provide best results for youth and families.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of services offered by Wayside.
  • Very strong customer service skill.

  • Organized with great attention to details.

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word MS Office.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree minimum.
  • 1 year experience with residential or insurance preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car.
We will train you in:

 Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Trauma Informed Practice, Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC), MAP, CPR, First Aid training provided upon hire.
