Position Title

SCHOOL COUNSELOR

Job Description

Part-time position, Three (3) Days Per Week 10 months per year, school calendar, with limited additional summer work days

  • Provide academic counseling services to students
  • Evaluate and re-evaluate short-term objectives on a regular basis throughout the school year
  • Develop and maintain communication with Teachers, School Counselors, CSE Chairpersons, Component Districts, and Parents
  • Evaluation and maintenance of student records including, but not limited to, transcripts, report cards, student management system components, IEPs, BIPs, CDOS requirements
  • Master schedule development and implementation
  • Carry out all other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid NYS Certification in School Counselor

Salary: Per Educational Association contract. Plus comprehensive benefits package.
