PERMANENT SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR

POSITION: Guidance Counselor
LOCATION: Baldwin High School
WORKDAY: Monday-Friday
EFFECTIVE: 2025-2026 School Year
REPORTS TO: Building Principal, Assistant Principals, Supervisors, or Designee
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successful experience working with students in a school setting
• Passionate about working with and supporting students
• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff
• Provide substitute coverage for school counselors and other classroom subjects as needed
• Support at-risk students working towards meeting graduation requirements

Job Qualifications

• NYS School Counselor Certification
• NYS Fingerprint Clearance
