Waves Behavioral Solutions (WBS) is an ABA Therapy provider in the Pinellas County area. We provide services to clients within Pinellas County, at our clinic, client homes, and community settings. Locations: Client homes, schools, our clinic in Largo, and community within the Pinellas County area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavior and skills assessments and design treatment programs for clients and caregiver support/training
- Oversee ABA programs in all environments and provide caregiver training and support to parent, guardians, teaching staff, and all other stakeholders as necessary
- Collaborate with client's other professional supports
- Provide direct behavior services to clients in individual and group sessions
- Work with and monitor implementation of plans by Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians per agency standards and BACB requirements
- Collect ongoing data, graph and analyze data, complete monthly progress reports for clients.
- Provide support, mentorship, and training to RBTs and BCaBAs
- Communicate with admin and billing team members to meet payor requirements and submission deadlines
- Maintain certification as specified by the BACB and funder requirements
- Other duties as assigned by administration
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification in good standing through the BACB
- Be able to pass a level 2 federal background screen
- Possess a minimum of a Masters degree with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field of study.
- Valid Driver’s License, safe driving record, & reliable vehicle to travel between clients in the Pinellas County area
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs, to assume and maintain a variety of positions for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in client’s natural environments with parents, guardians, or school staff present
- A minimum of 2 years experience in working with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Medicaid Provider preferred as well as credentialed with other private insurance companies including BCBS, Evernorth/Cigna, and Aetna
