Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to serve an elementary school in Chicago, IL, for the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing psychological services to support students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychoeducational assessments to identify learning needs and disabilities
• Collaborating with educational staff and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Providing counseling and intervention services to students
• Consulting with teachers and administrators on behavioral strategies and classroom interventions
• Maintaining accurate records and reports in line with school and district policies
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing professional recommendations

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
• Comfort using technology for documentation and communication
