In2Great! Pediatric Therapy is a growing and thriving multi-disciplinary clinic that is looking for experienced Clinical Psychologist. We have just expanded our state-of-the-art facility, and we are ready and willing to receive additional therapists and clients. Our multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic offers robust OT, SLP, PT, Mental Health, feeding therapy, a therapeutic preschool program, transitional program, and ABA services. We are a play based clinic focused on individual and family health. Our mission is to help as many children as much as we can, to help support our community and to have FUN while we do it!

The primary responsibilities of this position include the assessment and treatment of children experiencing psychological conditions associated with medical or surgical conditions. Direct clinical services will be integrated into multi-disciplinary care teams. Provision of direct, evidence-based patient care will occur in the clinic setting. Responsibilities will also include teaching and supervising families and therapists on best practice techniques for clinical support and quality services. The applicant is expected to understand and integrate a developmental perspective into the provision of care to pediatric and adolescent patients regarding their growth and development process.

  • Provides psychological evaluations and treatment for children treated in a pediatric specialty division, in clinic settings.
  • Collaborate with team members of all therapy divisions and the Mental Health department in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures specific to the provision of psychological care to patients within the pediatric specialty.
  • Serves as a team member within the multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Administers and interpret objective or symptom-based questionnaire measures as indicated/perform evaluations.
  • Maintains appropriate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. Write letters, notes, and formal clinical reports on client contacts. Communication of progress over the telephone and via the electronic medical record, as appropriate.
  • Collaborates and consults with medical providers, schools, social service agencies as well as city, county, and state funding and placement agencies through oral and written presentation of clinical findings and recommendations.
  • Completes all case management duties of assigned cases including discharge planning, completion of the diagnostic evaluation and referrals to appropriate support services as needed.
  • Provides training through direct supervision and teaching of staff therapists
  • Engages in team collaborations for difficult cases.
  • Follows protocols and procedures of In2Great Pediatric Therapy Service.
  • Collaborates with team members and department and clinic leadership in writing/reviewing program and departmental policies and procedures as needed.
  • Participate in continuing education events.
  • Performs job functions adhering to service principles with quality initiative and focus on innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers, and others.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

:

  • A doctoral degree in clinical psychology with APA-approved internship required.
  • If degree is in a related area (e.g., human development)
  • Completion of a one-year fellowship in clinical child psychology or pediatric psychology.
  • Required licensure and/or certification: licensed or license eligible. If employee is license-eligible, state license, employee must obtain license and be granted clinical privileges before start date.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work and lead with a strong spirit of collegiality within the multidisciplinary teams
  • CPR and QBS Certification eligibility required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,751.19 - $105,334.77 per year
