TITLE: Clinical Supervisor (this is a temporary, 3-6 month position)
SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours/week | 100% onsite at Leimert Park office)
HOURLY PAY RANGE: $42-$48/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our leading nonprofit client is seeking a Clinical Supervisor who will serve in the Clinical Training and Intern Development Program and be responsible for providing clinical oversight and evaluation of master level social work graduate interns, who will be registering with California’s Board of Behavioral Sciences after their graduation. The Clinical Supervisor acts as the point of responsibility for ensuring that each intern meets their training plans and requirements for Wellnest and their respective school. This temporary assignment is expected to last approximately three (3) - six (6) months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individual and group supervision to treatment team members (approx. 10 staff)
Ensure team members deliver high-quality clinical care, complete timely documentation, and meet service delivery targets
Co-sign and review clinical documentation in accordance with compliance standards
Maintain an open-door leadership style that supports professional development and teamwork
Collaborate as a member of the agency’s management team
Participate in on-call crisis phone coverage (shared; approximately one month per year)
Engage in training sessions, team meetings, and quality improvement efforts
Use electronic health records (EHR) and other systems proficiently
Perform other program-related duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A master’s degree from an accredited university School of Social Work and a valid license (LCSW) from the State of California Board of Behavioral Science
Licensed for at least 2 years and qualified to provide licensure supervision per California Board standards
Preferred but not required:
Prior supervisory or management experience
Background in providing mental health services in community-based settings
Familiarity with county mental health documentation and systems
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Participation in cross-training or continuing education as required by leadership
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Calm under pressure, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficient in EHR systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
