This role will be responsible for
- Conducting behavior analyses and developing behavior modification and skill acquisition plans
- Performing ADOS assessments and other diagnostic evaluations for children on the autism spectrum
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment programs and evaluation studies
- Reaching informed diagnoses using patient history, assessments, and scientific knowledge
- Providing thorough documentation, reports, and treatment recommendations
- Offering referrals and guidance for additional therapies or services as needed
Expectations will include
- Conducting patient check-ups and evaluations with a high level of accuracy and care
- Maintaining detailed and professional records of assessments and outcomes
- Collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive care
- Advising patients and families on healthy habits and preventative actions
- Continuously applying evidence-based practices and upholding ethical standards
- Contributing to program development and evaluation to improve services
A qualified candidate will possess the following
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
- Active psychologist license in the State of Texas
- Prior experience as a Child Psychologist, with strong diagnostic expertise
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic criteria, psychological evaluation methods, and psychometrics
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and communicate findings clearly
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
