About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated individual to join our team as an Patient Coordinator at Looksie Optometry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional organizational skills, and enjoys creating positive experiences for patients. You’ll be the first friendly face our patients see and play a key role in guiding them through their visits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-testing procedures and gather necessary patient information to ensure a smooth exam process.
  • Assist doctors during patient exams, maintaining a high standard of care and accuracy.
  • Manage and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
  • Educate patients on eyewear options, contact lens care, and other vision-related needs to enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Support daily office operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow and delivery of outstanding patient care.

Who You Are

  • You have at least 1 year of experience providing exceptional patient care in a medical, optometry, or dental setting
  • You have 1 year of experience working with medical and/or vision insurance
  • You're a multitasker who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure
  • You're empathetic and skilled at adapting your communication style to suit different audiences
  • You’re an excellent communicator—clear and professional across email, phone, or in person
  • You’re excited to work in a fast-paced, upbeat environment
  • You have a passion for a career in healthcare
