Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to support their growth and development. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and collecting data to track progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, experience working with children, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently.
- Provide support in teaching social skills, communication, and self-management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Document medical records and care plans as required, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and behavior management.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not currently certified.
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Strong understanding of special education practices and patient care protocols.
- Ability to effectively manage behaviors using evidence-based strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes, including care plans and behavioral health records.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
