Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed School Social Worker is needed to support a middle school caseload during a maternity leave contract from ASAP through December. This position requires expertise in providing social work services within an educational environment to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual and group counseling sessions with middle school students
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Assessing student needs and coordinating support services
• Maintaining accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school policies
• Supporting student well-being and academic success through targeted interventions

Qualifications:

• Current and valid license as a School Social Worker
• Experience working in a middle school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize student needs
• Knowledge of relevant social work practices and educational regulations
