We are recruiting candidates who are passionate about making a meaningful impact for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This role is an integral part of our team, providing support to clients facing behavioral challenges and developmental disorders. The position operates under the direct supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or other qualified supervisors and involves implementing treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in close coordination with BCBAs.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Administer ABA-based programs as developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Provide individualized support to clients, adhering to structured protocols designed to enhance social, communication, and adaptive skills while reducing maladaptive behaviors.
  • Ensure precise collection and documentation of behavioral data, including monitoring client progress, recording session responses, and noting any behavioral changes to facilitate continuous assessment and program refinement.
  • Maintain consistent communication with supervising BCBAs, colleagues, and family members. Offer constructive feedback, share relevant observations, and actively participate in team discussions to address client progress and challenges.
  • Implement a comprehensive range of behavioral interventions focused on teaching new skills, reinforcing positive behaviors, and reducing problematic ones. Methods may include discrete trial training, naturalistic teaching, and the application of reinforcement strategies.
  • Assist clients in transferring learned skills to various environments such as home, school, and community settings. This encompasses instruction in self-care, play, social interaction, and communication techniques.
  • Always adhere to the ethical guidelines established by the BACB, upholding standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and maintaining the client's best interests as a priority.
  • Model appropriate behavior and reinforce positive social interactions
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency privacy protocols
  • Adhere to all organizational and BACB guidelines and standards
  • Ability to implement detailed instructions and behavioral protocols
  • Capacity for critical thinking and problem solving in dynamic environments
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations
  • Skill in de-escalation and crisis management as needed


Qualifications, Skills & Requirements


Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a Level II criminal background check.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prefer those with some college
  • Certification: Completion of a company-sponsored, 40-hour training program approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), followed by successful passage of the RBT examination.

Job Type & Schedule:

  • Full Time
  • Various Part-Time Hours at our Panama City Beach Location
  • Schedule: Our facility operates M-F, weekends and holidays


Compensation:

  • Starting at $18/hour and based on experience
