Position Overview

Expanded Health Family Practice is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is empathetic, clinically skilled, and passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges. You will work with a diverse caseload, providing individual therapy, and contributing to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Counselors will have access to Expanded Health’s marketing across all platforms and social media, and credentialing is provided. Counselors must provide their own malpractice insurance and maintain an updated Florida LMHC license. Expanded Health offers free preventative and acute care for minor illnesses and primary care services to 1099 contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to clients across a range of ages and presenting concerns
• Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based modalities
• Utilize therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused therapy, couples counseling, family dynamics, parent behavior training, behavior management, addiction counseling, and PTSD interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with other clinicians and referral sources as needed
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality

Qualifications

• Active Florida LMHC license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
• Availability for 10–20 hours per week, including some evening or weekend slots

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
