Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the Citizenship education program -a program designed to help participants succeed in the US naturalization exam. Duties include but are not limited to recruitment, enrollment, new student placement, teacher assignment, class scheduling, on-line and in-person class logistics, teachers’ meetings, teacher supervision and curriculum implementation
- Monitor class and student progress, enrollment, retention, outcomes and expenditure
- Serve as liaison between education program and citizenship legal team to provide comprehensive services to participants
- Trouble-shoot problems with attendance, remote access/computer issues, teacher absences. Serve as information center for basic program policies and procedures.
- Assist in generating reports for TEF leadership and other stakeholders as needed; ensure adherence to eligibility standards
- Manage data collection, entering and updating student data records and logs into internal systems
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, training, or equivalent years of work experience required
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in adult education, healthcare, training or workforce development required
- Spanish bilingual required
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Knowledge of healthcare education programs, adult education, and/or labor management operations
- Collaborative problem solver; high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong verbal written communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of career and educational pathways and degree programs in the health care field
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends required
- Oversee advising members seeking occupational certificates on Fund benefits and programs
