Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC) is currently recruiting LMSWs.

· Friday - 10/3 10:00am - 4:00pm

· Saturday - 10/4 10:00am – 2:00pm

LMSWs at GBHC are vital members of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care and individualized support services to adults with serious mental illness and children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.

LMSW at GBHC:

· Identify short-term familial issues relating to patient admission

· Work one-on-one with families of patients

· Perform appropriate assessment of risk, crisis intervention, and referrals in response to mental health crises

· Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary treatment team

· Develop individualized treatment plans and, in consultation with other clinical staff, review service plans to reflect progress and update programming needs

· Determine discharge service needs and appropriate community resources

· Will supervise first and second year Master’s level Social Work Interns
